Hussong's Platinum Tequila

Hussong’s Platinum Tequila is the perfect combination of age and beauty. Aged in bourbon barrels for 15 months, it is then filtered to give it a crystal clear appearance.

Agave:

Our agaves are 100% Blue Weber, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Aroma:

Butterscotch, confectioner’s sugar, cotton candy, coconut, Coco Lopez, vanilla, vanilla bean, honey, buttery, sweet pastry, guava, agave, sourdough bread, and fennel.

Cooking:

Our unique cooking method is to combine the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and our stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours.

Palate:

Toffee, caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, honey, papaya, mango, pineapple, guava, coconut pulp, agave, mint, spearmint, slightly spicy, black pepper, coffee, clean, soft, and creamy.

Aged:

15 months in American White Oak Barrels

Finish:

Caramel, vanilla, spices, black pepper, briny, tannic, and smoky.
