Bushmills 25 Year Old Single Malt is an exceptional small batch whiskey, robust in character. After initial maturation in bourbon barrels and sherry butts, it is finished in a first-fill ruby port pipe oak cask for 21 years to impart generations of luxurious dark fruit flavors. These port pipes were personally sourced from a family cooperage, which shares our uncompromising values, expertly hand-crafted from delicate European oak to ensure the interaction between seasoned wood and whiskey is the greatest it can be. TASTING NOTES Bursting with intense dark fruit flavor and a luxurious honey sweetness on the nose. Simply luxurious on the palette - sweet almond tones give way to caramelized fruit, developing into rich dark chocolate mingled with sweet spices.
